Downtown Weslaco homes and older plumbing runs
Many of the mid-century houses along and near Business 83 and Texas Boulevard still carry their original supply lines and drain connections into the water heater closet. When a tank in one of these homes finally goes out, the fitting behind it has usually aged right along with it, so an installer needs to check that connection before setting a new unit rather than assuming a direct swap will work.
We inspect the shutoff valve, supply lines, and drain connection before installation, and if anything needs to be brought up to a safe, modern standard, that gets identified and priced up front, never added on after the new tank is already in place.
