Older Pharr homes and cast iron connections
A lot of the houses near downtown Pharr and along the streets close to Cage Boulevard were built decades ago, and many still have their original cast iron drain lines feeding the water heater closet or garage stub-out. When a tank finally fails in one of these homes, the fitting behind it has often corroded along with it, so a straight swap isn't always possible without addressing the connection first.
Our installers check the drain line and shutoff valve condition before setting the new tank, not after, so there are no surprises once your replacement is already in place. If a fitting needs to be updated to safely connect to a modern tank, that's identified and priced up front, before any work starts.
